My name is Paul Langley and I have formulated the concepts, operations and implementation of AIM training.

I am a freelance fitness instructor, developer and researcher
.

I have over three and a half active decades of my own direct involvement across a range of operations regarding "what actually works effectively" in for example the following paradigms :-

  •  tactical goal achievement and target setting
  •  individual and group motivation
  •  process control & structured methodologies
  •  quality management and continuous improvement
  •  performance measurement and enhancement
  •  change management
  •  mentoring and coaching

......my sporting credentials date even from before my time in the under 20's Olympic fencing training squad and I have gone on to spend a lifetime studying, practicing and teaching a broad range of areas like martial arts and self defence, circuit and interval training, pilates, boxing,  hatha yoga, all forms of resistance training, endurance swimming, running and cycling and such.....

.......I have therefore amassed, and continue to gain, a wealth of first hand experience based knowledge that is available as support
.

I am an Exercise Professional with an AIQ Level III in Advanced Personal Training.

My own belief is that for exercise/activity to be most effective it is necessary for it to be specific for individuals and tailored to suit their personal goals.

It should be fulfilling yet challenging in order to provide satisfaction.

It must also be progressive and provide stimulating variety.

Furthermore, it is prudent to embrace the knowledge and experience of established athletes, medical professionals, mentors and coaches and such when engaging in physical activity.
